Update on "No Mans Land" From Steve Carmack:
Brent and I made a few change to NML today to get a little more trail in. What was the old entrance into the trail is now the exit. The new entrance is about 2 tenths of a mile down the road toward the bowl and goes in just at the property line. This allows us to use some old trail and have it connected to the existing trail. This Doesn’t change the direction of the whole trail, only a short part at what was the old entrance. As for the end of the trail, we added some extra distance and come back very close to the trail you come in on now and then pick up the new exit , again what was the old entrance. We have it arrowed and put up signs. When you exit now you can cross directly over into the woods and pick up the bowl trail to the parking lot and not have to ride on the road. It’s also arrowed and a sign is there too. This is not as confusing when you see it as it sounds here.
Please see the update below from our very own Single Track guru Kevin Lash. Thanks Kev for all of your team's hard work!!!

"Attn SINGLE TRACK folks. An update on the trail work that is currently going on. If you ride the Suzuki Swamp loop across from Log Truck parking (it actually starts at the Lynn Rd gate) about 4 miles in, you will come to some signs. 2 will say "To East Main Loop", To Chutes and Ladders" with arrows pointing left. This is a connector trail that is currently being put in to add mileage. There is also a sign that says "Continue Suzuki Swamp" with arrow pointing right. That will take you back to where u started and it's well marked. IF YOU GO LEFT AT THE SIGNS, it is arrowed with a new trail that will take you to where Shortcut Rd runs into Ore Rd where u can get out on Ore but after that, the trail is NOT arrowed. It will eventually continue around to Chutes and Ladders and then to East Main Loop. Hope this is not too confusing. When it gets done, you will be able to ride approx a 40, maybe 50 mile loop with very minimal road time. I will update you all as we get closer to finishing."
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: If you plan to ride in Westpoint this weekend PLEASE be aware of the active logging operation on 100MPH Rd/Trail 5. They will be harvesting the mature pines on either side of the trail beginning near the intersection of Camel Rd/Trail 1. Also, the loggers are staging their loads at the back of our parking area on Ridge Rd near Mustang Rd. Very important, under no circumstances are we to block access to loaded or empty log trailers. The logging crew works directly for our landowner and always has the right of way on the property. This harvest consists of 60 acres, I was informed by our property manager that they will be pulling out of Westpoint once this harvest is complete. Everyone needs to remember this, if it were not for timberland we would not have a place to ride, this too shall pass. Many thanks to everyone’s patience and cooperation!!!
New Signs for "No Mans Land" and "Suzuki Swamp" are in and will be going up soon. Along with more larger signs at some road crossings directing you how to get back to the Main Roads.
Steve Carmack, Brent Roberts, and David Clark, were able to add a little more to "No Mans Land" and are planning to change the current Exit a little later. As of now if you are riding the bowl loop and are almost back to the bowl road area and gate, the trail runs very close to Wisdom Road about 50 or so yards before it crosses the Bowl Rd and and the Red Gate They made a trail that turns left to Wisdom Road. They put up a couple of signs saying “ Bowl” and a arrow or “ NML” and arrow to take you to Wisdom. If you take the left to go to Wisdom it’s only about 20/30 yards to the road. You cross the road ( it’s arrowed) and will go in to NML at the property line. This location is down Wisdom Rd and just at the curve coming from the current entrance of NML. This will pick up some old trail and run you back to the existing trail that you ride if you use the main entrance we are currently using. As of now it’s just an option but we plan to change the exit out of NML to take you back to Wisdom, cross it and tie in to Bowl trail that goes to Bowl parking. I want to give a little time to see if anyone uses this change before doing anything more. Will update when we make more changes so as not to miss up Adam’s maps. We will need a couple new entrances signs for NML at that point .
Kevin Lash and his gang have been adding milage and signs to "Suzuki Swamp". Many of the tougher sections have easier routs now and are well marked.
